MR TINT AND SUN SELLS FILMS THAT ARE DESIGNED TO REDUCE THE AMOUNT OF SOLAR HEAT TRANSMISSION THROUGH WINDOW GLASS BY INCREASING THE SOLAR REFLECTION (NOT NECESSARILY VISIBLE REFLECTION) AND SOLAR ABSORPTION OF THE GLASS.

1.  TYPICAL COLOURED OR DYED FILMS WORK PRIMARILY THROUGH INCREASED ABSORPTION. THE COLOUR ABSORBS THE SOLAR ENERGY AT THE GLASS, THUS REDUCING THE DIRECT TRANSMISSION OF HEAT INTO THE ROOM. THESE FILMS ONLY OFFER MARGINAL PERFORMANCE WHEN COMPARED TO REFLECTIVE FILMS.

2.  REFLECTIVE FILMS ARE FILMS THAT HAVE BEEN PRECISION COATED WITH METALS. THESE METALLIC FILMS ARE DESIGNED TO INCREASE THE SOLAR ENERGY REFLECTION OF THE GLASS AND SOME OF THE ABSORPTION. REFLECTIVE FILMS RANGE FROM MILD TO EXCELLENT IN SOLAR HEAT REJECTION PERFORMANCE (HEAT GAIN REDUCTION). 

3.  NANO CERAMIC AND SPUTTER IP FILMS ARE FAR SUPERIOR FILMS WHERE VLT IS REQUIRED. YOUR LIVING ROOMS OR ROOMS WITH A VIEW ARE SPOILED BY HAVING DARK WINDOWS. WE SUGGEST STRONGLY THAT ALL 'ROOMS WITH A VIEW' USE NANO CERAMICS IR FILMS. IT'S SIMPLY WORTH THE MONEY!

NOTHING STOPS FADING. WINDOW FILMS ARE DESIGNED TO REDUCE THE MAJOR CAUSES OF FADING (ULTRAVIOLET LIGHT, VISIBLE LIGHT, AND SOLAR HEAT), THUS PROLONGING THE LIFE OF YOUR FURNISHINGS.

1.  SCIENCE TELLS US THAT ULTRAVIOLET LIGHT RADIATION (UV) IS APPROXIMATELY 40% OF THE CAUSE, VISIBLE LIGHT RADIATION IS ABOUT 25%, AND (IR) HEAT RADIATION ABOUT 25%.
THE REMAINING 10% CAN BE ATTRIBUTED TO AGE, HUMIDITY, POLLUTANTS, INTERIOR LIGHTS, DYE STABILITY AND MANY OTHER FACTORS. HOWEVER MR TINT WINDOW FILMS PROTECT YOU AGAINST 99% OF THE UV RADIATION AND THAT IS THE MAIN CONTRIBUTOR TO FADING.
